iCONTROL provides a fully compliant multi-area security system complete with event logging, download facilities and back-to-base monitoring.

The system can be connected to standard security devices, door contacts (reed switches), dual purpose motion detectors for security and light control, smoke detectors, access control systems and other sensors.

Multi-function motion detectors act as security sensors when the system is armed but trigger normal system activities such as lighting during regular use. Integration means that security events triggered by input devices can activate pre-programmed lighting scenes and other systems for example blinds, automatic doors and access control.

When an intrusion is detected by the system, the back-to-base dialer will “grab” the phone line, even if the telephone has been ripped from the wall, and dial out to report the incident to the monitoring company. If the telephone interface is installed, iCONTROL can call several user nominated telephone numbers to report the incident and/or send a pre-programmed SMS message.
System keypad and keyring remote buttons situated, for example, in sleeping areas or carried permanently can be programmed as “panic buttons”. When panic buttons are pressed, the alarm is activated triggering lighting scenes, sirens and automated telephone dial-out features.

The system’s “Holiday Mode” can record up to 7 days of normal lighting activity and can replay the recorded lighting pattern creating the impression of occupancy while premises are vacant.

If necessary iCONTROL’s advanced interface can integrate readily with third party security systems or off-the-shelf devices to suit specific operating environments.
